SCAN[ more business,
more money management ]

In Scan, Michel Schweizer offers the audience to choose their own role. As soon as they enter various positions are offered to the audience member in order to take part in the experiment. Everyone is free to identify and / or choose a profile to experience here, in a customized service, what constitutes a privilege or not. In the end, the item presented, the “product” – as essential as it may be – isn’t the main point of focus. Scan lies in the attempt of questioning the whole system of the creation process: what is the legitimacy of the creator? How does the audience involve themselves according to the information given? Who chooses the circulation of the questioning? After a management workshop, Michel Schweizer, 44 years-old, uses the lexicon and costume of the ideal manager to take apart the habits of the culture industry and to shake up without restraint but with obvious humor, the place of artists and of those that listen to them.
